Hello

I grew up in Schenectady, NY, am an alumni of NYU Tisch Film class of 2011, and a founding partner or Artek Pictures with L.A. based cinematographer Andi Obarski. The company was formed in 2014 while working at Hello World Communications as a coinvestment in a Red Dragon and has grown to the boutique production company  swiss army knife resource as needed.After a decade across the river in Jersey City, I moved to Brooklyn as industry trends and friendships finally pulled me across the city. Working at a rental house in 2013, the Freefly Movi gimbal was dropped on my desk as a golden opportunity I segued into freelance filmmaking. From then until around 2020 I built a reputation as a camera and movi operator, but thereafter have have success transitioning to cinematography and directing opportunities. I have some experience producing, editing, shooting stills, and am always learning more as I go. Techonology and trends are a moving target, so there's always more to learn.
